Killara Golf Club has two north-south synthetic grass courts and a tennis pavilion providing amenities for players. Tennis has been a feature of the Club since 1977. The facilities were upgraded with synthetic grass surfaces in 1990. Killara Golf Club has recently welcomed Tennis Professional Jose Rojas, a well-known coach and tennis professional.

Killara Lawn Tennis Club offers adult programs including private and group coaching, social tennis and competitions for players of all standards. Club History. In September 1899 a group of interested golfers and tennis players gathered under a canvas cover, spread between trees in Lindfield, to inaugurate a golf club – The Lindfield Golf and Recreation Club. A 9 hole golf course was grubbed out of the land known as Archbold’s Paddock and the club, now known as The Killara Golf Club was born. However the founding fathers could not obtain a long term lease for the site and the search was on for a more suitable site.

The Club has a rich history across a range of other sports and recreational activities. Current facilities include two synthetic grass tennis courts with competitions and coaching run by our Tennis Professional. The Killara Golf Club also have two squash courts, two lawn bowling greens and one championship billiards table.

At Killara Golf Club we expect our members to maintain high standards of behaviour and appearance on the course and in the clubhouse. Members and visitors are therefore requested to observe these standards and to maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times.

Squash - Killara Golf ClubKillara Golf Club

Killara Golf Club has one squash court, originally built in 1937. The court is enjoyed by both competition players as well as members who enjoy the casual game of squash among friends and family. The Club enters teams in the NSW Squash Northern Districts pennant competition each year.
